how do I save a page I created as a template and apply to other category pages. thanks

Hello !
You can copy the code from one page and copy it to another as you can see here:
Open the page editor: https://www.screencast.com/t/rSUgDDPWJEI6
Copy the code: https://www.screencast.com/t/rcwnC8j6
And you can paste the code in another page which will become editable using tagDiv Composer.

am able to do the first 2 steps of opening the page editor and copy it, but now where do I paste it

Hello !
You will have to create another page, and simply paste the code in there. Then open tagdiv composer on the newly created page and edit or save.
