Social Counter Translation Lost After Update

Hi,

Before the update yesterday, the Social Counter was displaying correctly the text in my language, but now it’s all in English. How can I change that?

I already translated everything in the Theme Panel > Translations and also modified the “default.po” file.

The update also reverted a lot of other things to default, but I managed to change most of it back already.

Thanks.

Hi ton1985a,

The settings that are not made in theme panel and are made in theme files will be lost when you’ll make the theme update.
Also the changes from “default.po” file will work only if you do not have load a language from here -> https://i.imgur.com/Lvg8biL.png if you have you need to edit the file that is set in theme panel.

Thank you!

Hi Calin, I tried editing both default.po and the one I choose in theme panel. Do you know of any other file that I can edit to translate the social counter mannualy?

Thanks

Hi,

Please let me know the settings you’ve made in theme panel (if you can to provide some screenshots), in this way I will be able to indicate the right changes that you need to make.
Here is a similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-55/

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi Calin,

Changing the file in the social counter plugin -> wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/shortcode/td_block_social_counter.php helped.

Thanks.

I’m glad that I was able to help you!
Just note that when you’ll make a theme update the changes made in social counter file will be lost and you need to make again the changes. I’ve made a note to our developers to add in translations fields for these elements.

Have a nice day!
