Hi,
I am currently running Newspaper 10.3.5 installed manually with the damn stupid “envato_download_delete_all_files_upload_all_files” procedure.
To my understanding, starting 10.3.1, Newspaper theme is supposed to update automatically, avoiding the damn stupid “envato_download_delete_all_files_upload_all_files” procedure.
It does not work.
The theme panel screen says:
“Newspaper 10.3.5 is the newest version available.”
and clicking the button sends to a hashed url:
https://tenisite.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_theme_updates#
What is wrong?

Hi arnextera, yes, the Newspaper theme has an option that will update the theme automatically, but for this the theme will be set in maintenance mode and will download the new version using envato_download it will install it and activate, after that you need just to update and activate theme plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/BXdEdz0.png
Usually when you get “envato_download_delete_all_files_upload_all_files” there is some plugins, a firewall or security options that are blocking the automatic update, please check these in your website and host.
Also a solution will be to use the manual update using FTP/cPanel

Thank you, problem is that the theme panel does not at least show that there is a new update available, it say 10.3.5 is the last version
I will probably opt for the envato plugin, hope that one works

what I am trying to say is that there is a problem with the updates panel, because:
1. it does not detect that my version is old
2. the ”Check for updates” button is deffective, it points to the following link:

I would have liked to get at least some hints for how I could fix it, but as I said, I will go for the envato plugin
