Track custom ads

If we create banner custom design ads for local businesses on my site (not google ads), can we track the Ad link clicks?

If we either create the banner or advertisers send us a design, would we be able to link it to another page (e.g.) a website and then track how many website
visitors clicked on the banner which forwards them to another website?

how can this be tracked?

Hi navindesigns,

Yes, you can track your ads/banners and you can set external link on banners, but you need to use a plugin or a custom code, because our theme do not has a tracker implementation for ads or banners.

Unfortunately we do not tested any ads plugins, therefore we do not know how the works, but you can try some free plugins:
