Greetings, we are getting a major error all over our website from quite a while, which we are unable to resolve or find out why its happening, and it has to do with how the heading title tags are appearing on the homepage, posts and pages.
1. If we select H2 in the tagdiv composer, it shows as H4. This is whats happening on our homepage.

2. The same error is occurring on the posts. The Sidebar posts heading titles are setup as h4 (default), but those sidebar posts titles are showing as h3 instead.

3. I have a question regarding the related posts we are showing in the end of the posts. Is there any way to change the heading title tag to h4? As it is showing as h3 right now, and we don’t want that. I don’t see any options to change that either. How can this be fixed?

1-2. I just check this and on my install these settings are working correctly -> https://prnt.sc/u0zihh -> https://prnt.sc/u0zipd make sure that is not a plugin conflict, also what version of theme, WordPress and php are you using?
3. If you are using a single post template or a pro demo you can edit the cloud template with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/UITmXvv.png and replace the Single Related Posts with a flex block and filter it after Related Posts -> https://i.imgur.com/mfaGPiv.png in this way you can use the Title tag (SEO).

1. Can you please conduct the same test for the “title” element, because it isn’t working for us on the homepage. If we select H2 in the tagdiv composer, it shows as H4. We are using the following:
Newspaper Theme version: 10.3.6.1
PHP Version: 7.3.20-1+0~20200710.65+debian9~1.gbpc9cbeb
WP version: 5.4.2
2. As for the related posts and side bar posts, we are now using flex block 1 for both. When we select h4 (default) for the tiles, the titles for those element show as h4, but the posts titles still show as h3.
for example, on this post: https://photographycourse.net/types-of-camera-lenses/
the title for the flex block 1 element “related posts” is showing as h4, but the 6 posts that appear under it, show as h3. Is there any way to fix this. The same issue is with the sidebar posts under the heading “must read”.
We do not want to tag any headings to these posts at all. Is there an element that doesn’t mark them all as headings? If not, how can we remove the current h3 from the titles of the related blog posts in the sidebar and in the end of the post.

We tried deactivating the plugins, and it seems like there is a bug in the plugin/theme.
The same problem is happening on our blog posts. We select H4 (default) on sidebar post titles and on the related posts element, but it shows as H3.
We really need to get a solution for this as soon as possible, as all of this is risking our search engine rankings.

Hi Calin,
Our webmaster looked into this and he found that there is a problem with the theme. The options provided don’t work.
He tried editing the file mentioned above, but it does no change to the related posts block.
He can still find a solution by modifying the theme files, but that is not a good solution. It will be reset when we update the theme.
We think you should fix the bug, and that’s the best thing which will also stay with future updates.

Hi domien, this problem with H tags was reported to our developers and they will handle it. There should be no problems in the coming updates. Until then if you want, you can make the change in theme files, also if you want you can check our guide for child theme, some changes from theme can be set there.

Unfortunately there is no option in our theme for that, sorry. Those changes can be made only in theme plugins and will affect all blocks from entire website not only from a specific place.
