I read the other post on this but it doesn’t help. Regardless of what I do, the featured image is huge. The code will say it is displaying at the changed value, but it is not. I need to change the featured image to something like 800×600. Regenerated images, that did not help either. Using Newspaper theme.

I always set image size, but this theme blows up the featured image way too large is the problem.

We recommend setting up the images to 800×600 or 1920x1080px. Also please make sure that you are running the latest version of Newspaper Theme and TagDiv Composer.

OK, but HOW do I change the image size for the single-post template? I tried setting image size (my images are sized before upload), and the size is ignored and the theme blows up the image – and I cannot find any CSS to change that. The images as I stated are way to big and significantly affect page load speed.

I am sorry for misunderstanding !
In order to resize the featured image you will have to do it as you can see here:https://i.imgur.com/nbjzMYS.png ; https://i.imgur.com/uyxUqKi.png
The options from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/E5a0i5qF0 will allow you to change the image loading size ( The image will not be loaded as an 3MB one, it will be loaded as 1MB one, for example )

Thank you, it’s better but it doesn’t change the height like its supposed to. I hope in a future update the width and height can be set in CSS and it works across the board so-to-speak.
