Hello,
Is there an option to hide the featured image from a post, like something that is NSFW (Not Safe For Work) or anything of a creative way to hide some posts? Or a switch to turn on/off NSFW posts?

Newspaper theme does not offer this option at the time. You can test some 3rd party plugins and see which one fits the best for you.
