When I installed WordPress I did it with a username by default and choosed a Nickname. The nickname is what you can se. But the link to the author shows the username in the url.
Is there a way to
1. Take away the link to the author or
2. Change the landing place for the author to an url for the nickname.

Unfortunately this option can’t be changed from Newspaper Theme. You will have to contact WordPress support in order to see what can be done.
