Not sure how else to decribe it.
Frequently when I open the site (sunnyinkabul.com) it defaults to the ‘serif’ vs. the designated font I’ve set in the theme panel.
If I just open the fonts in the theme panel, then save (without making changes) it seems to fix it.
But I don’t want someone visiting the site and not seeing the fonts I’ve set up.
I don’t have any other font plugins installed besides what came with the theme.

I have checked your site but couldn’t noticed the issue you describe, all fonts’ I’ve checked are rendered as they should. Could you please provide more details about this and also make sure that you check this without any plugins active, just the Visual Composer and also empty cache if you use any cache plugins.
Please also let me know on which web browser you’ve experienced this behavior.

Tried it without plugins, and I don’t use cache plugins.
It ONLY happens when I open the custom typography panel and change ANYTHING. Then when I log out of the admin panel, clear the browser caches, and try to look at the site, the fonts aren’t at all what I’ve selected.
I just tried it using my iPad (Chrome browser all around) and it looks like this:

So then I open the theme options panel, open/close (but do NOT change) fonts on things like Mega Menu, headlines, and now it’s fine.

Again, this ONLY happens when I do ANYTHING in custom typography.
