Hi there,
I am trying my luck here as via email the support wasn’t able to help me. It is a BIG problem for me as my website doesn’t work on any firefox anymore. What I and also my friends see when they tried it, is the same problem I already had in May: https://www.annaobermeier.at/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Bildschirmfoto-2020-05-04-um-12.43.13.png
When opening the website in safe-mode, sometimes it works, and sometimes not. Sometimes it seems like the website works – but a lot of images aren’t loading and the wordpress-bar, that normally is above the website, is shown as a linklist under the footer. Whenever it works perfectly and I hit Command Shift R (loading the Website without the cache) – the crashed website is again seen.
In Safari it seems to work. But: Also the problem that not all photos are displayed, as you can see here: https://prnt.sc/umfvm7
I don’t use any addons or plugins on my Firefox.
As this is my business-website, this really is a catastrophe for me!
After some investigation with my friend:
I activated the plugin “tagDiv Standard Pack” which was deactivated from the theme itself and had to be updated in a very weird way. Then I chose “No template” for my header. I think this last step is the MAIN PROBLEM:
Now it seems to work. I had troubles with custom headers in may, as you can read in my last post.
Now see the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/umg7vj
Left the website with safari which still shows the old header.
Right the “no template” header.
I want my header to look nice like in the left browser. But it seems that everytime I make a custom header, my whole website crashes….
Hi,
I just checked your website and not is working correctly -> https://i.imgur.com/a8724gm.png -> https://i.imgur.com/GFuhw1F.png -> https://i.imgur.com/qTvRFl3.png
I remember that you had some problems with cloud templates, now I do not remember exactly if it was from some element from cloud header or not, but now as I sow you are using a cloud header and this is working correctly, also for safari just make sure that the browser and website cache is clear and it should display the same header.
Also, soon will be a new update and hope this will work better for you.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
the weird thing is that I don’t use a cloud header like you wrote. I chose “no template” at Theme Panel – Header – Cloud Library Template.
Also now the website is using more than one header. The header that the frontpage http://www.annaobermeier.at is displaying, is my custom header. When going at another site like https://www.annaobermeier.at/minisessions/ – it is the “no template” header. At Safari and Firefox the same problem.
When I refresh the page with Command Shift R (without cache in Firefox) – everything works at the “No template” page. At the frontpage when refreshing like this, it’s also crashed again and looks like this: https://www.annaobermeier.at/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Bildschirmfoto-2020-05-04-um-12.43.13.png . So it is pretty clear to me that there is a big trouble with the custom header / custom cloud header. Unfortunately it doesn’t work as you explained.
All the best
Hi,
Is possible that you had set an individual cloud header on this page http://www.annaobermeier.at this should explain why is a different header from the one set in theme panel. Please check it using tagDiv Composer like this: edit the page -> https://i.imgur.com/bgDpVhn.png click on the manage -> https://i.imgur.com/X063NUi.png and set the global template -> https://i.imgur.com/xb9MuHh.png after that clear all cache and purge cdn, then you should have only one header for entire website and the problem on Firefox browser / some Safari should be fix using standard header.
Let me know the results!
Hi Calin,
yes, now it’s like that: I created a new header yesterday with a cloud template. I just changed some colours – to be sure that I didn’t make some mistakes inside the header that ruined everything..
So I now changed the header in the theme panel and it looked nice. Besides the problem that at some sites some photos aren’t loading! You can see my website with the “no template” header again and compare:
https://www.annaobermeier.at/ueber-mich/ loads like this with the cloud template header: https://prnt.sc/uyiyq5
Or the blogpost https://www.annaobermeier.at/an-der-alten-donau/ loads like this: prnt.sc/uyiz81
Hi,
I just checked your links and now on these you have set the standard header style 10 -> https://i.imgur.com/QXtWJ0d.png there is no cloud header on your website, the cloud header is no longer set in theme panel ?
If you want I can take a look to this, just send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
