I’m using the header ad by going to Theme Panel > Ads > Header Ad.
Header ads from Google ad appear on each page of the site.which includes Pages, Archive pages, 404 pages. You can check this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/ViDI8Kf.png
I only want ads to appear on site post pages.

Hi,
If you are using a standard header style, then yes, the ads will be display on the entire website in header zone, this can be prevent only with some restriction code or you can use a cloud header and tagdiv composer, this one can be set global in theme panel or individual on pages or cloud templates, therefore you can set an individual header without ads one it per 404 and archive pages.
