How to exclude latest news from featured block on the screen?

Dear, is it possible to exclude latest news from featured?
Any news, independent from the category goes to featured part of the screen and also to the latest news, which is not necessary.

That can be changed by using tagDiv Composer, click on your block and edit the filters as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/b4nNKaAPdL

Hi Vlad S,
unfortunately I tried that and it doesn’t solve my issue.

To explain it more in a detail: Imagine there is 10 different predefined categories and all 9 you want to have in those three boxes on the top and top-right, but just one, in this case latest news category you don’t want to have under top3, like on my screenshot above.

You can only either create a category only for the featured. In order to exclude you will have to add – before your post id as you can see here:https://www.screencast.com/t/j7IBi0pi

It didn’t work that way, I put Ultimate Category Excluder plugin and it works.
