Hi,
You can display the categories of posts in archive pages using a cloud template for date -> https://i.imgur.com/DHXTTjm.png this one can be edited with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/1GRBOTf.png
Also if you are using a plugin for this, make sure that plugin can display the category description.
Thank you!
I am completly lost here. This archive page you show does not look like my page.
I have selected date template in template settings, and if i edit this page it looks like the one that you are showing, but it does not look like my archive page at all.
This is the archive page that the plugin uses and the one i want to edit: https://aktiviteterforborn.dk/listing-category/forlystelsesparker/
And this plugin does show title and description of category
Hi Sommer,
The archive page that you are using is a standard one, not a cloud -> https://i.imgur.com/c5evG3S.png there are no other options to edit these standard templates.
If you want to have a little more options you can use a cloud template as in my example.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Then edit it like this -> https://i.imgur.com/rSde68D.png then using tagDiv Composer you can select the element and edit them -> https://i.imgur.com/RQgfsmK.jpg
If this is not what you mean, or I didn’t understand correctly, let me know and provide some more details.
Thank you!
It is not possible. There is no option to edit template on my archive page. I think the issue is that the theme panel does respect my settings regarding the archive page.
It is set to Date template, but i don´t think that it is showing template in frontend. It is still showing standard archive page no matter what setting i use.
Hi,
This can be a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and cPanel. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
I have been talking the plugin makers of the plugin i am having issues with regarding the Archive page heading, description and control of the standard template. They told me to give you this image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfvaq3yd9mgx7tj/chrome_2020-10-09_11-58-21.png?dl=0
Hi Sommer,
Unfortunately, if this is a plugin that was not tested (https://i.imgur.com/LnJGN6j.png) we can not provide support for it, this is because we do not know how this should work and what can interfere with oar theme.
Thank you for your understanding!
