Header ad style 5

I’m using headerstyle 5, and in the documentation there’s a ad shown below. If i setup header style 5, the ad doesn’t appear. If I use the default style, the ad (with same adcode) is displayed.

Any ideas?

Hi,

The theme was designed to work with adsense and custom banner/click ads, i think you’re using something else http://screencast.com/t/t9h0nfix

For other ads you have to look for a plugin that can handle those types of ads or try to add the code manually into the template files in the location you want to appear.

Hi Emil,

Thanks for your reply! I used the same tags (Google DoubleClick for Publishers) with NewsPaper and didn’t had any issues. Is there a difference between NewsMag and NewsPaper the way the ads are handled?

Hi,

I’m not sure about this, the only modification made to the ads system on newsmag is to the responsive settings which shouldn’t affect this.
I suggest you try to test your ad code into an VC text/text with title widget or wp text widget.

I added the adcode manually and this worked, thanks!
