Custom Sidebars No Longer Working

I’ve created a number of custom sidebars for posts using the Custom Sidebar dropdown menu in the post settings area on the individual posts. Then I populate the sidebar with widgets from the Appearance > Widgets menu item in WP dashboard. We then apply these sidebars to various posts depending on the topics, again selecting the sidebar from the Custom Sidebar dropdown menu in the post creation page.

But… I’m trying to follow that process today and:
1. While I can add a new Custom Sidebar to the dropdown menu in the post, it does not save to the dropdown list. So if I change the sidebar back to default, for example, and then try to select the new sidebar I just created, it’s not there.

This attempted new sidebar does not appear in the list on Appearance > Widgets either.

2. So I tried adding a custom sidebar plugin and successfully created a new sidebar that does appear in Appearance > Widgets, and to which I added several widgets. But that new Sidebar does not appear in the Custom Sidebar Dropdown list on posts.

Unsure why this function is no longer working.

Hi CTWL3,
If you are using standard post template -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/ then the widget sidebar are working, but you need to make sure that you do not have some plugin conflicts, if possible to have some plugins that are no longer compatible with our theme and creates this problem, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
