Hi!
I am having problems with the theme Newspaper. First of all the top menu is not showing. And the speed is not too much as the demo! How to fix this?
And I want to know, how to give the Login on top-right?
Thanks in advance. I need help with this site: http://www.techierevive.com
Those are not bugs. You need to create a menu using the wordpress panel to make a menu; if changing from another theme you need to assign your existing menu(s) to the spots which match the names of the menu areas in the theme. Be sure to read all of the documentation and videos that came with the theme. My menus have worked from the first version of the theme to now, even moving from another theme (two actually), and they are really easy to setup.
While this is more general to wordpress.com, the methods are the same:

Hope that helped 🙂
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
HI
Top Header Menu – is the black bar
Header Menu (main) – is main under logo menu
Footer Menu – is the one at bottom of page
Be sure to go to
wp admin > appearance > menus > manage locations
and check all are set right.
and,
wp > admin > appearance > menus > edit menus
[select] a menu to edit, the one you’re trying to put on top of pages in black bar, and check at bottom that the checkbox is checked for [x] top header menu, click [SAVE]
Also if using special plugins, turn them off to see if a conflict (any plugin not included with theme!)
If you’re using Firefox or pesky Chrome, you may need to go into your Chrome browser settings and “clear history” to get rid of their stupid caching (I usually test in IE, then check in Chrome).
You can see our menus running on the 10 year old site we’re (still) migrating to Newspaper, here (not self promotional, so I’m going to unlink this as code):

The menus should work, as they hook into WordPress’ default menu system with CSS and are not custom menu plugins. If they work in the default WP theme (e.g., twenty twelve or thirteen, or even fourteen), they should work here. 🙂
No idea, sorry. If the two other menus work and one does not, there is obviously something conflicting with it loading at top of the page, perhaps “inserted” by another plugin which is breaking the code (check the page by view source, or use Chrome’s error checking tools on the page). Obviously a conflict with something you’re running and not a problem with the theme itself, since the menus work properly with the normal plugins.
