I use WPMUDev.org to host our WP sites (really good company – check them out!). I’ve loaded Newspaper theme on there several times without problem. I’ve recently developed a new site (gpgrandstand.com) on my local machine using MAMP pro server. I activated the theme locally and developed a basic site.
I then used the WPMYdev shipper plugin to upload the site to the WPMUDev host. All worked great. I looked at the live site and the Newspaper theme was not activated. When I go to activate it I input my Envato purchase code (which has been working for this site), it says “Activated OK” but my status page still says I’m not activated.
I tried the manual activation which gave me a tagDiv activation key but that doesn’t work either.
Help!!!!!

Please try the follow steps, go in newspaper> system status and reset the key, make sure that you use a valid key, then in System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png
admin.php?page=td_system_status
in
admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1
And try after that to activate the theme.
