I have just installed the new theme on a staging site. I have been using Newspaper for a while and it’s been working fine, but I wanted to upgrade to the new one.
The problem is, not all the articles are showing in the categories on the new site.
E.G. One category has 5 articles on my site, all tags are setup correctly, and the breadcrumbs on the article even show the category it’s in, but when I go to the category page, there are no articles.
Is this a theme issue?

First make sure that you still have posts in category you mentioned.
If you use cloud templates for category , then the solution can be just a simple setting.

After visiting the link you provide it, I can see there are just 4 articles in that category. If you will add more than 5 articles, then the next articles will appear down on the page like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/CUXLpcSN
If you have already a content with more than 5 articles on that category then please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:

Those 4 articles in the grid across the top of the category page are not part of that category. They are the latest articles on my site and they show on all the category pages.
I need to delete that grid so it doesn’t show.
But the actual category itself has 4 articles and none of them show, even after I have removed that grid.

Please edit the category with TagDiv Composer, then select the Posts Loop element and find the offset posts setting. Clear any value that it has and save the page.

This is weird…
All of the other pages, posts and category pages have the ability to edit with tagdiv:
Here is an example. You can see the bar at the top:

However, when I go to the Invertebrates category, the bar doesn’t even show up to acknowledge that I am logged in to WordPress. So I can’t click edit with Tagdiv Composer.
It’s the only page on my site that does that. It’s also the one that shows no articles.
Any idea what’s going on with that?

If you can’t edit just a category from your website, then please check if you have or not a default template for that category. This you can change from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Categories, search for your category called “Invertebrates” category and set these like that: https://www.screencast.com/t/4zuIqTYY
