problems editing home page

I have the Newspaper 10.3.8 theme installed. When I am editing the home page and I write a meta description using the yoast seo premium plugin and then I refresh the page it gets misconfigured or broken.Gracias!

I just test this on my install -> https://i.imgur.com/qBebnOq.png -> https://i.imgur.com/e7IxXod.jpg and for me is working -> https://i.imgur.com/Ahs0pyz.png
Please let me know how did you try. Also make sure that you do not have not plugins that can interfere with the theme and yeast plugin.
