Firstly, I create a post (post 1), using SPT#43, and set author’s photo. When I create a new post (post 2), the author’s photo in post 1 is selected, instead of the image which came with the template, and saved with the template. I then replace author’s photo with that of the author for post2 just created. When I switch back to post 1, the author’s photo is replaced with that of post 2. So both posts now have the same author’s photo, that of the last one placed. I have tried many ways to solve the issue and have not been able to.
Secondly, re the same template, is it possible to switch the sidebar from left side to right side? If so, how is it done?
Hello !
1. Please provide a link to your website in order to take a look.
2. You can achieve this by editing the row layout as you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=73s
Thank you !
Hi Vlad,
You asked for link to site, but there is nothing there to help with the issue I outlined because I could not use a malfunctioning template. What I suggest you do is to test cloud template #43 and you will find the BUG causing the problem outlined in my earlier mail.
Hello !
I am sorry for misunderstanding !
This is not an issue. This is a single image element not a author box https://www.screencast.com/t/oRO62UigQzNg you will have to use a author box element. Or if you want to use the single image element you will have to create a post template for each post.
Thank you !
Hi Vlad,
I have been unable to set up author box with tagdiv composer. As you can see from the attached image, info entered in Header Settings do not register. Also, where do I find info for the General Settings? I have not been able to find directions in your Documentation to help me.
Hi Jenny, nfortunately we do not have documentation for each element from our theme, sorry!
To use the author box, you need to set an id for the author you want to display -> https://i.imgur.com/5NqnN78.png this can be get from url when you hover an user -> https://i.imgur.com/3FjG0XL.png -> https://i.imgur.com/fQao7u4.png
Hope this will help you!
