Compatibility of PHP 8

Hello All,
My Domain is sustainabilitynext.in

I have a clarification, WordPress 5.6 is going to get updated by next week. PHP 8 is already released.
My Scare is, can you please help me to find, whether my site is compatible with PHP 8 or not.
If not, what procedure should I follow to keep my site intact.

Hi Benedict Paramanand, for the moment we recommend to not update the php to v8, after the WordPress will be update we’ll make a theme update and then is possible that the theme to be compatible but I can not say for sure until then.
I’m sure that our developers will test the WP and php version with our theme and provide theme updated for compatibility, unfortunately I can not estimate a date for this.

Sadly, the theme is not at all compatible with PHP 8 as it will just go to the white screen error.

For those that can get into their server, you can go ahead and install PHP 8 so when Newspaper does do the update, you can switch over immediately.
