Many thanks

You appear to be missing all the OG tags for description, title, etc.
You need to look at your page “source” for a post and note all the elements missing which are needed for sharing to FB and Twitter.
Without the proper meta data, the social media sharing just scrapes the first text on your page.
You need to use something like Yoast WordPress SEO, to setup all your social media tags!
Yes we have done this and it says that all the data is missing. And it is picking up all the tags, pages, time date and author etc.

A most unusual set of circumstances indeed. Sadly we have gone live with the site and are now totally confused with this issue which was not spotted in the development stages.
We love the new theme sooooo much but we really need to sort this issue out as we are now losing many shares and likes and interaction because of it.
Can you possible have a look at out set up or the code?
I can send you all our login details on a private message.
Best regards
Joe
Well, as I stated you need to use something like YOAST WordPress SEO plugin to enable all the missing data. This is also “suggested” in the theme docs.
The theme doesn’t manage all your SEO settings for you.
Download and install the Yoast SEO plugin, which allows you to setup all your missing info!
