i was going through you documentation and i have one question. I have installed and activated tagDiv Speed Booster so do i install and activate other caching plugins like SG CachePress or w3 total cache together with speed booster or speed booster works alone in increasing speed?

Speed Booster is not a cache, so if you want caching you’ll have to activate another plugin that handles that.
Personally, I’ve found that using WP Fastest Cache and not using TD Speed Booster has my site working the fastest in all environments. It gave me a 20 point jump after all other optimizations over using Speed Booster and W3 Total Cache. I never liked W3TC; too much bloat and no where near enough results.

Main benefit of the tagdiv speed booster is pushing some of the java and such to bottom of page and “enqueueing” it … but often it can be done as “optional last thing”
And as some people are commenting on the forums already, Speed Booster also loads default theme colors for a split second before the modified style settings are enforced. So it’s definitely a use at your own discretion sort of thing.
I’d say a caching plugin is required to use with News Mag, but the Speed Booster plugin is entirely optional and depends on several variables including your theme colors and the amount of plugins loading javascript on each page. If you don’t have a large .js load then Speed Booster may not be needed at all.
Exactly … you should be properly optimizing use of CSS if you choose to use speed booster – to minimize flash of unstyled text/colors; you should be editing the style.css and not using the custom CSS box which loads after the main CSS file – as one example.
ok so i use my host provided caching plugin siteground cache press. It adds dynamic cache, memcache and page cache and with that i use cloudflare but my speed is no where near to the theme demo site.
is it because i am not using td speed booster?

I’m not going to get into page speed scores and whatnot; it’s not my strong-suit. But just from loading the front page and a couple of posts I’m wondering how fast you think the site can actually be? It’s pretty fast on my end, even with the ads.
Those ads will keep your site from getting the page speed score the theme demo gets, every time. Nothing you can do about it except remove the ads.
That said, the site loaded in under 2 seconds for me on my first visit, and each subsequent page load. If you haven’t already, search the forum for Chris’ thread about optimizing your site and follow those instructions. That’s all I can suggest to speed it up, but you’re not going to get a huge difference because it’s already working fine.

Thanks all for your support so far. What i noticed from yesterday is my site is loading good and in under 2 seconds its just the tools gtmetrix shows the speed more than 4 seconds and that doesnt matter if the site is really loading fast.
I tried from several computers with different internet connection and all worked fine and good and the site loaded perfectly with less than 2 seconds of load time.
