Does the block text with heading cause a high lcp?

Since yesterday my LCP dropped from green to orange and I don’t have an idea why. The only change I did was to add some text blocks with heading to the post-pages. Do they cause a large LCP?

Hello !

You will have to check. Adding a blocks it means only 1 or 2 shortcodes. Check your waterfall in GTMetrix and see what exactly is eating your time there.

Thank you !

I checked the waterfall in GTMetrix and there are a lot of fonts, css and Java Script that is loaded in the headsection of the theme. I have deactivated all Google Fonts. So what can I do to the decrease the LCP. The LCP increased after the last update…

Hello !

Our suggestion is to use less fonts, recommended are 1-2, that can be done from website manager as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/uLuGMI1J0fi

Thank you !

Dear Vlad, I’m only using one Font (Helvetica), so I can’t do any changes. The font is about 128 kb. So would do you recommend?

Hello !

It is ok if you use only one font. That is our recommendation.

Thank you !

That was not my question! This one Font is about 123 KB in Initial Kissing – isn’t there a way to reduce it?

Hello !

At the moment you can only reduce it by using it less or trying a different font.

Thank you !

Hello !

You will have to test and see that. Personally I don’t think that is there a big difference between fonts.

Thank you !
