(newspaper theme) I have a blog post and it displays OK when one navigates to the site but when one clicks on “home”, the post appears with a blank square where the thumbnail should be. There is sometimes a message saying to enable thumbnails on block settings, but when I go to block settings I don’t see “enable.”
Setting a “featured image” did not help.
I installed Regenerate Thumbnails and ran it but it didn’t seem to do anything. Should the thumbnails appear in Media? How can I tell if they have been generated?

The message on the blank thumbnail said to enable thumnails 100×70 in block settings. I went there, and thumbnails were enabled but not for 100×70 thumbnails. So I enabled it for that image size, and now the thumbnails display properly.
