When I share a post URL, it typically is too long, for example:
https://tigardlife.com/featured/local-family-seeks-the-american-dream/
I would like to be able to remove the /featured/ part of the path, i.e.:
https://tigardlife.com/local-family-seeks-the-american-dream/
Is there a way to do this?

You can change the URL, in WordPress -> Settings -> Permalinks -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hHkk185xxCt.
Or if you want more control over permalinks you can use the plugin, SEO Yoast.
