Contributors who login using a mobile phone can edit any post or even page on my site yet they have restricted roles that prevents them from doing this. On a desktop this works fine.

See a screen shot of a contributors login to submit posts using USP pro plugin

How can I remove the admin options on the top bar from showing so that thye click and are able to edit. How come mobile and desktop work differently

Hello !

That is a wordpress feature. Unfortunately that cannot be edited from theme settings.

Thank you !

So this is a serious security problem since a contributor with no access to editing can login on mobile and access the whole website’s content pages and posts?

Hello !

This is how WordPress was built: https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ Unfortunately we have no control over that, neither the theme. As you can see in the link above that is how Users Roles was built.

If you are looking to edit this I would suggest to contact wordpress support.

Thank you !
