We are using Newspaper Theme v8 on our website. Although the website is working fine, but the social media counter of YouTube is not depicting the updated count. Our channel has currently around 3400 Subscribers but the social counters shows around 900 only.
I understand that a lot has changed since version 8 of Newspaper theme, but I want to know is there any way that I can edit the code files in it, so that the updated count is fetched properly? or if it is not possible then can I put some manual number of subscribers directly in the code file?

Unfortunately a piece of code would not be very helpful.My suggestion is to first remove and re-add the social counter plugin. Make sure it is reinstalled properly and that all the ID’s are inserted correctly.
