Please make sure that all theme requirements are set ass in our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ also please verify the console when you try to add the code in theme panel to see if you do not get a 403 or 404 if you do it can be a security plugin from your website or host.

Please make a test and disable all plugins except tagDiv plugins then try again to see if the problem persists. Also will be good if you can test with 2-3 scripts.
