Responsive Settings After last update

Hi,

After the last update, there are not “Responsive Settings”. What to do?

The fixed width option was removed last year in Newspaper, unfortunately. You would need to go back to the version prior to that change to keep that setting.

Rumor has it some kind of fixed width option, similar to Newsmag, will be in Newspaper 5.0, with their new grid system, but no ETA on that.

I’ve tried to put an older version but when I do that the whole website turns into BLANK

So I’d like to know what to do in this situation because I really need the website responsive+980px layout.

You also need to use the older version of visual composer…. basically

First, switch to default theme
then turn off all plugins

1) delete /wp-content/plugins/js-composer
2) delete theme folder

3) install theme – old
4) install js-composer for that version (bundled)

turn on visual composer -old
activate theme -old

turn on plugins once working.

Nop, it didn’t work. Still showing everything as white when I enable the older version of the theme.
