The background is not changing color. Set it in the theme panel and tried custom css. Neither is the hover color for the menu links in the sub footer. What am I missing?

If you use cloud template, then you can edit the page with TagDiv Composer plugin, click on that zone and change the color. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
If you use a default template, then please check if the setting in theme panel is saving or not.
Also, try to delete your cache(also from your browser) and try again.

I’m using the magazine template which is a default template, I think. I am using TagDiv Composer and it is set correctly. Also tried using custom css, but everytime I change it, the system renames the target file over and over again. Like if it’s .td-123-whatever then after saving and previewing and it hasn’t fixed it, go back to the code and now it’s named .td-abc-whatever. Hope that makes sense. Perhaps it’s something in a javascript file or hard-coded into the theme somehow that isn’t working? Both WordPress and browser cache have been cleared and still nothing changing.
Also, the hover color for the menu in the sub-footer doesn’t change either. Both are set in the Theme panel and have also tried custom css on this as well. Hope that further helps to determine what might be going on. Can’t edit the sub-footer in tagDiv composer or I may be able to narrow down what I may be doing wrong, if anything.
Before I forget, yes, it shows it saving successfully in the Theme panel. It just doesn’t change anything.

That’s weird. Please start looking for a plugin conflict, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.

I was actually up all night and finally figured out what was going on by accident at 5 am this morning. I erroneously thought the first section in the Theme panel was just for ads. The header template was set to none, or whatever the no theme setting was. The footer template, on the other hand, had a cloud template set on it. I guess this was automatic. I knew I wasn’t using a cloud template when I sent the other messages. Like I said, I erroneously thought that section was for ads only and never thought to check that. Found it was I was looking through every single setting. The TagDiv Composer will not allow you to go past the footer to edit. Which it’s a little cumbersome to use anyway, because there are no scoll bars until you drag across the screen to the right and you finally get one to go up and down, but not side-to-side. I had been just clicking in the white space at the top and using the arrow keys, which doesn’t always work. THen when you do go the right to get on the other side of the template, you can’t see the settings menu on the left. Just cumbersome, but Ill figure it out, I reckon. Maybe a thought for the next update or something. Thanks again for all your help trying to figure this out. Hope it will help someone else facing the same issue. 🙂
