Remove custom meta data on single post

Hi,
How do you remove the meta data for images and author without touching the main theme files. I’m using a child theme. It’s currrently in conflict with Yoast SEO as it already has meta data.

Hi,

The theme meta shouldn’t conflict with SEO by Yoast, check if it doesn’t come from another plugin.

Try to replace the post template files and comment the get_item_scope_meta() line – http://screencast.com/t/Vr0DctoYrO
