When images are added to posts, they are opened as separate addresses by default (/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/p3.jpg):
When image added to post

I need to make sure that when I click on the images, the preview opens without going to the image address. (/how-to-think-and-act-in-the-plummeting-stock-market/)
As in the example:

How to make sure that when clicked, all images are displayed as a preview, without clicking on the image link?
Help me please.

Hello !

That can be done if you insert your images in a gallery. If you open the images directly that is how they will show up, using their own url.

Thank you !

I tried to add it through the gallery, it didn’t help.
I chose the properties “attachment page” and “media file” – the same thing.

I found a button that is responsible for this:

This is only available when adding one image. Why is it impossible for a gallery?

Hello,

Please make a test only with tagDiv plugins, and see if the problem persists. Also, if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.

Let us know the results!

Thank you!
