I have a live development site which is used by several contributors to test and design. It is not indexed by search engines and the domain is “staging.mydomain.com”, put it is public, not local on my pc.
Now I want to migrate the theme in production on “www.mydomain.com”:
- do I have to reset the key and delete the staging.mydomain.com theme before I can reuse it in production?
- can I use the same key on both sites, for a short time?
- how long does it take from key reset in development to key activation in production?

Hello !
You can keep the staging active and the live one too. You can use the key for 1 staging and 1 live website. This is recommended by us because it is easier for users to test and update the theme on development modes.
