Hi, I just downloaded the theme and it is VERY impressive.
I just had a question. How can I get the theme to act exactly like the demo here:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/
Ideally I would like each category to have its own style:
Style 1:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/
Style 2:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/
Style 3:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_tech/
Are these all on the same wordpress install or does each have its own install?
Please advise I would really like to have multiple styles for each category!
Thank you for making such an awesome Theme!
Hi,
You can install our demo and import predefined styles, please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-the-demo-data/
For each category you can set a module to display articles list, also you can set background: http://screencast.com/t/AETetusiSWNj
Result: http://screencast.com/t/FkSDB43p
Please follow our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-documentation/
Let me know if you have any issues related to the theme.
Thanks!
Thanks Alin,
I was looking to actually have each category feel like they are separate sites. So the Logo should also change at the top of the page. Is this possible? The Demo makes it seem like it is all on one wordpress install, but is that the case or are they all separate installs on the Demo?
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
Unfortunately theme doesn’t have an option to have different header on category page, you will need custom work for that. We would have gladly made it for you but we work very hard on the updates and features for all the users, sorry for this.
Here you can find an example one header on homepage and different header on all other: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/one-header-on-homepage-different-on-all-other/
It is not an easy task to do that for each category and if you don’t have basic php/html/css experience I suggest that you hire a professional developer to make this custom modification for you.
After you install the Demo Data you can import 6 different styles (Stacks).
Thanks!
