For some reason today I am getting issues with the menu settings. I tried to add a new page tot he menu and it crashed. Then when I created a new menu is crashed. On the main site there is no menu, just “click here to select or create menu”
Is this a known issue. Running current version of WP and Newsmag
Looks like there is a conflict issue. There are 3 different places you can set what menu is shown where. Even if all 3 are set it will show the menu once, then you refresh the screen and the same message appears.
Kind of makes the website look very unprofessional. Especially when there are mass marketing campaigns and potential customers are going to the site and seeing this message and not able to click on the links to sign up.
Signups have stopped. Was getting 20 per day, now 0.
Would really appreciate some action on this Divtag. I am losing money by using your theme.

Sorry for the delay!
We haven’t had any reports regarding this and I’ve also tested this, trying to recreate it but haven’t managed so please make sure that this isn’t happening due to a puling you use and test this without any plugins active, leave just the Visual Composer active then empty caches and check again.
If you still have issues after doing this please also try to increase the max_input_vars = 1000; value inside the php.ini file to max_input_vars = 5000;.
If you don’t have access to the php.ini file please contact the host administrator and let him know about this issue.

This happened after an auto WP update this morning. I noticed there was a new update for NewsMag and updated that to see if that corrected the issue however it didn’t. It appears to be a conflict with the new WP update.
There are 3 different places you set the menu’s. could this not be reduced down to only one place to prevent any conflicts.

I have changed the theme template from default to another setting and that has solved the issue. It has been like that overnight and the menu is still there.
If I try to change the menu and click save it doesn’t save. It will just sit there saying it is loading and nothing happens. this is when it removed the menu from the home page.
So at this stage I cannot edit the menu. if I do it will remove the menu

Could you please also provide your site’s URL and let me know if when saving it some error appear in your browsers console?
And also please confirm that this happens when using just the Visual Composer plugin and having all other plugins disabled.

I’m working on the menu. I’ve got pages and categories in he menu. When I clik on a category, for example Agenda, it opens a new screen with the agenda items. So far so good.
It also opens a second menu wich I don’t want. How can I make this second menu disapear?
