How do I remove the dates from this link. Every-time I make a post the date is included in the link.

You can change the URL, in WordPress -> Settings -> Permalinks -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hHkk185xxCt.
Or if you want more control over permalinks you can use the plugin, SEO Yoast.
