Authors & contributors are able to view and edit cloud templates

WordPress has different kinds of users built in, each with different permissions. Admins can edit anything, but certain other types of users are prevented from editing pages, or plugin settings for example.

In the Newspaper theme, Authors and other users can edit cloud templates freely. This is a big problem and they should not be able to do that. Websites with external contributors need to be able to prevent them from making structural changes to the website.

In this screenshot I’m logged into the website with an “author” level account. Cloud templates should not even be visible to those user accounts.

I need to know if this will be fixed in an update or if there is something I can do to fix this in the meantime.

Hello,

Our theme does not have the option to grant access rights.
Only the administrator and editor can do changes with tagDiv Composer and can save it.
The other users can open it, but the changes made are not saved.

Thank you!

Thanks.
Is there no way for you guys to hide the Cloud Templates area in WordPress from users in a future update?

Hello,

For a moment, if you really want to change this you can contact our custom work team here and they will build a solution for you: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Also, I noted it as a suggestion on our list.

Thank you for your understanding!
