Embed Vimeo Video with iFrame – large white space top and bottom

Hi

We are trying to embed Vimeo videos with dimensions 994x250px to the top of our Newspaper homepage via iFrame. I have tried a lot with wrapig the iFrame into a div and different top and bottom paddings as well as iFrame attributes but I always end up having the video not in the correct position of the iFrame (The size of the iFrame is correct but the video is cut off in the middle leaving white space on top or at the bottom) or having large white spaces above and below the actual video. In TagDiv composer it sometimes looks correct but not on the actual page.

The actual goal is to replace our own banners which are .gifs with some .mp4 videos (If possible hosted externally), of course I am also open for different solutions than embedding Vimeo iFrames.

Thanks in advance and kind regars

Hello!

Try to use Video Embed element edited with TagDiv Composer, so you only need to paste the link video there and it should display correctly.

Let us know about your results!

Thank you!

Hi Bettina

Thanks for your reply. I had tried this before and just exchanged the iFrame with a video embed element again for you to check. Still those huge white spaces above and underneath the video.

Do you have any other idea?

Best regards
Andy
