CSS analyzer step by step and doubts

Hello team,

These are the steps I have performed on a test site I have. With CSS analyzer, but I think that I have not done something right, because I can not appreciate great benefits.

Step 1: Deactivate the cache plugin (important, with the cache plugin activated, CSS analyzer gives problems).

Step 2: Login to WP-admin in a Chrome browser

Step 3: Double click on CSS Analyzer

Step 4: Click on “Analyze CSS”.

Step 5: Wait for the program to finish (this will take a few minutes).

Step 6: Save changes.

Step 7: Activate the cache plugin.

Step 8: Empty all the cache (important).

Wait a few minutes for the cache to regenerate and test the results:

And with GPS

The truth is that it has not improved much.

My question is: Am I doing something wrong and how can I get better results?

Another question: I see that the homepage is optimized on desktop, does the CSS Analyzer works also for the mobile version? And for the posts?

Thank you team for this update, it really looks amazing, I know it will be exceptional. I just don’t think I know how to use it properly at the moment.

Hello,

For mobile, we got about the same score => https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/
The tagDiv CSS Analyzer works only for pages (mobile responsive and mobile page), but not works for posts (templates) and mobile theme plugin.
You can find more information about tagDiv CSS Analyzer in this article => https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/
A tutorial on how to use this tool will appear soon.

Thank you for your kind words!

Have a lovely day!

I saw the video but I don’t have that button for Analyze CSS.

Also, my website is extremely slow and I don’t know what to optimize, change in it with this theme. I saw that removing the Standard Pack and selecting a custom page could make things better but I didn’t find information about how to do that, while maintaining the form and functionality (which is also not good, using some of the tutorial from here) of the old website.

I thought this CSS Analyzer could help but it’s nowhere to be found – and I have the latest version of Newspaper.

Hello, @StefanG,

Please make sure that you are using the last theme version, Newspaper v10.4 and last WordPress version 5.7 and please make sure all the tagDiv plugins are enabled.
Also, if you have the plugins enable, please make a test only with tagDiv plugins, if you have extra plugins please deactivate them and see if the tagDiv CSS Analyzer will be displayed.
The page speed is not related only to the theme that you are using, this is affected by plugins/content/ads/ external resources, etc.

Thank you!
