I’ve read the documentations and the forums and I have installed WP User Avatar. I have a problem with the avatars, this is what happens:
1. the avatar I upload has 500×500 px resolution
2. it is resized to 100×100 px and then after that cropped to 100×75 px
3. on the article page, the 100×75 px image is displayed as 100×100 because that’s how the theme layout is
How can I avoide the cropping and last resizing?

You have to wrap any HTML in “code” here.
However, some things don’t work, as I’ve learned also. Try removing the < > brackets if using that in this forum. Tricky!
It doest’t work, anyway that is not important. I’d like to know how to disable the two resizings on the avatar pic that brake the proportions.

Is a recently issue, what you can do is to change like here: http://screencast.com/t/pZJuwpyv2H that 96 value. This will search for an image at 96x96px and if the image doesn’t exist will take the original image.
Before was 100 and the theme use 100x75px image on some blocks, and that function doesn’t support to specify all sizes only 100 and with 100 value will found that image with width 75.

Marius… Can’t understand the English… We have this problem also… looks terrible for our authors!! They are not happy… It’s not clear at all what the solution is. We need to fix this right away. Thanks. Please clarify!
