How can I disable the Scroll triggered slide feature

On my second page, there is a popup or slider that features random articles. This has become very annoying. How can I disable it, or at the very least configure it better?

Notice the slide out covers the side bar. I’ve had several complaints about it being annoying. I have no idea how to disable it, or at least control its content or the timing of it popping out.
