Hi there,
I added this code to my custom css:
@media(max-width:479px){
.home .td_block_big_grid{
display: none;
}
.home .td-grid-wrap {
padding: 0px !important;
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.container .span12 .row-fluid .span4 {
display: none;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td_mod8 .meta-info,
.td_mod8 .td-post-text-content {
display: none;
}
.td_mod8 .item-details {
margin-left: 0 !important;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
.td_mod8 .thumb-wrap img {
position: relative !important;
width: 100% !important;
max-width: none !important;
max-height: none !important;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
}
@media(max-width:479px){
.home .td_block_big_grid{
display: none;
}
.home .td-grid-wrap {
padding: 0px !important;
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.container .span12 .row-fluid .span4 {
display: none;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td_mod8 .meta-info,
.td_mod8 .td-post-text-content {
display: none;
}
.td_mod8 .item-details {
margin-left: 0 !important;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
.td_mod8 .thumb-wrap img {
position: relative !important;
width: 100% !important;
max-width: none !important;
max-height: none !important;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
}
That line of code deletes the big slider and the sidebar on my iphone 6 and also makes the article pictures bigger. However, when i flip my iphone to landscape it brings back the sidebar and the big slider ( http://www.screencast.com/t/rWB4JA3qZV )( http://www.screencast.com/t/MVr7oxewTjZO ) and the article pictures are showing up small.
How can i remove the big slider and the sidebar also from the phone landscape mode and make the pictures look like in the portait mode ?
The best solution would be that the big slider showed up in a nice way on the phone screen. You can see this ( picture http://www.screencast.com/t/rFozORlR7n ) , the pictures are wrong size and the titles are a mess. How can i make this to look better ?
Hi,
We know about this issue when is used page template Home BG with site background the images from Big Slide are not resized. I have checked your site and I see that you don’t use a background for Big Slider, so please change the page template to Homepage + Articles List and add Big Slider manually to the page using Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/Phgvb2VL – http://screencast.com/t/uUa2mpAmLUm
Result: http://screencast.com/t/HsAn6hYGr
If you still want to hide Big Slider on mobile screen(landscape) just increase the @media’s max-width to the landscape width of your iphone: http://stephen.io/mediaqueries/#iPhone
Hope this helps!
Hi,
Please use a page template without background for example: http://screencast.com/t/fXm58i1ry0 and(like I said above) add Big Slider manually to the page using Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/Phgvb2VL – http://screencast.com/t/uUa2mpAmLUm
Result: http://screencast.com/t/HsAn6hYGr
Thanks!
What i mean by that, is that how can I control the backround color of the big slider ? Like in the this link : http://www.screencast.com/t/tFz5ZHWII
I cant do it with Homepage with article list
Thanks.
Hi,
Yes you can add background only if you use a page template with background, but when you use also site background it will appear that issue on mobile(Big Slide images don’t resize) and Big Slide background will be catted: http://screencast.com/t/iGxwgJqNDdA – http://screencast.com/t/KxuL3Rv1a
Like I said above we know about this issue and it will be fixed in Newspaper 5 version. Till then please use only background for site or Homepage BG template. Sorry for inconvenience!
Thanks!
