Cloud Single Post Template – Ignoring sidebar

Using latest theme version.
I added new cloud template – Single Post Template – Magazine PRO (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine_pro/2020/06/03/td-post-what-makeup-to-wear-daily-no-matter-what-youve-got-planned/)
You can see that this particular template has a sidebar.

Then I go to the theme panel -> Post Settings -> DEFAULT SITE POST TEMPLATE(site wide) and set this template, saving settings…

But when I check my site I see that posts appears without a sidebar…
Just wide single column…

I don’t understand what I am missing…

Please assist.

Thanks

Hello,

If you have a Single Post Template, the settings from Theme Panel will be ignored.
This is a video on how to customize your sidebar with tagDiv Composer =>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU also, if you have created a sidebar like a widget then you can set it in the element called “Widget Sidebar” => https://www.screencast.com/t/x7b90ioLJhUi

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

As I said before – I added Single Post Template – Magazine PRO.
Now, how do i assign this template to all my posts? As I understand it’s on Theme Panel -> Post Settings -> DEFAULT SITE POST TEMPLATE(site wide). I choose this new template.
And my site does has the look of the template except the sidebar stuff.
Doesn’t matter which template I choose – my site always single columned.

I don’t understand why.

Can you please advise?
Thank you!

Hello,

If the template looks fine in the editor of tagDiv composer, but after it is assigned to a post it appears without a sidebar most likely it is a problem caused by the WPbakery plugin.
Please notice that we strongly recommend using only one of those plugins with our theme (WP Bakery or tagDiv Cloud Library, but not both).

Let me know about your results!

Thank you!

You were right. After deactivating WP Bakery finally posts what I see are reflecting the template I set.

Thank you.
