Hello all. First and foremost this is my time posting here as this is the first time im making a website.
I have just started a site about news relating to the Stock market and doing Deep dives on different stocks. Everything is going quite decent, but one thing is blowing my mind right now and it may sound stupid.
My question is how do i get my post to not just get on the front page on my site but in to the different categories on my site? i have made different sub categories on my site and when im making a post and i choose the subcategory it just goes to the front page and doesnt reach the place i want.
If anyone could help it would really make my day!

You should select the subcategory in the right side when you edit a post, publish and view the post and there you should see the place of it.
If this is not what you mean, then please provide more information, screenshots and your website link in order to help you efficiently.

I still cant get it to work.
As you can see from the pictures when i have a post and like in this example i want it to get to the sub category “business breakdowns” and i select it when editing the post.
But when i publish it just goes to the front page and in the category “Business Breakdowns” nothing arrives

When you publish the post and hit the button view post, can you see your entire post?
If not, then please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.

The post just doesnt reach the intended place i want it too
