Filter by tag slug in category view: (ex: tag1,tag2,tag3)
Filter by tag slug in post view: auto tag on/off

Unfortunately there is no option to add the php code in block settings. You filter by tag by adding tags name separated by comma like in example http://screencast.com/t/96GA7LHQdyJ – http://screencast.com/t/bd6V9n2neOId

If I’m not mistaken, it looks like he’s wanting a block to show related posts on single.php based on the tags of the single post. The only way I can see doing this with NewsMag is through the standard related posts block at content end and set it to use tags in the settings panel. No option for a sidebar block to work like this that I’m aware of.

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option like that and you would need additional customization for that.
If you don’t know how to do it I suggest you get someone to do it for you.
I’ll also add this on our feature request list and consider it for future updates if more people will ask for it.
