Override modules

Hi.

Using the latest version of Newsmag theme (version 1.6).

I am unsuccessfully trying to override files in /includes/modules directory by copying the file to respective location in child theme. Seems that the module file in child theme is being ignored.

I am able to override files in the root directory and from /parts directory (as described in child theme documentation), but not from /includes/modules. This means that the child and parent theme setup should be correct.

Is it possible to give hints about what could be the problem?

Hi,

I also tested this and seems that is an issue with the child theme only files from the root can respond to changes. I added this on our list and it will be fixed soon as possible. Please make your changes to the main theme files until we can provide an accurate answer on this. Sorry for inconvenience!
