Good Evening,
The permalink structure has just changed on all of my mobile pages.
For example.
example.com/contact
example.com/contact-mobile
I have three websites on the Newspaper theme, and other on different themes.
It has just changed on my newspaper sites.
Any ideas why?
So it’s just on every page I have created, not any posts.
So I got an alert regarding duplicate meta descriptions yesterday morning. And all pages have indexed as
Example:
https://pricklyplant.com/about/
https://pricklyplant.com/about-mobile/
Whereas previously each page has the same slug, but would display either the mobile or desktop pages.
The pages are all mobile pages created in the TD composer.
I have disabled all plugins for conflicts but can’t seem to work out the issue.
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to me.
What I am saying is that I didn’t change the slug. When the update happened all of the mobile pages on both of my sites have changed to https://pricklyplant.com/pagename-mobile/.
When I go to change then back I am unable to as it believes there is already a page with that URL.
Previous to the update, when I was on mobile the permalink was just https://pricklyplant.com/pagename and would serve the mobile site version.
Would you still suggest redirecting?
Thanks for your help
Hello,
We need to investigate what settings were made to cause that problem, please make a full backup to all files and the database and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com Provide
– wp-admin URL and credentials
– cPanel URL and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Also, you know we will do a test only with tagDiv plugins, and the other plugins will be disabled.
Thank you!
