Slow media upload, more then 28 copies are created

Hiya,

we are using the newspaper theme. We are still experiencing a very slow media upload (500KB media files).
On the background we noticed that there are like 28 copies being created in all kinds of resolutions:
Is this a code hidden somewhere in the theme?

Hello!

The images are cropped automatically for the blocks, that’s why you can disable the thumbs you are not using. Set up your thumbs from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Block settings -> Thumbs on modules/blocks. If you deactivate a dimension from there, next time when you will upload an image, it will not be resized to that dimension.
After changing the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
