Number of post Views

Dear,

I’ve noticed that post view counter is not working for direct visits, but only if you, for example, open article by clicking on a homepage article thumb.
I had Facebook campaign for one of the articles, and in Google Analytics I see that I had 1300 page visits (for that particular article) on the same day, but view counter on the website is showing that I had 19 visits total.

Can you please let me know hot to fix this?

Hi,

The view counter doesn’t work well when used with cache so if you do use cache then I suggest you also enable the ajax post view count feature under post settings in theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/bf0BBbWl1Z

I’ve made a change, but still don’t see any new counts when I go to article directly.

Please deactivate all plugins, leave only Visual Composer plugin active, clear cache and see if it works. Also please try this without js minification.
